Writing from today’s 5-minute Friday prompt: Beauty.
GO.
Pretty is as pretty does. It’s what I’ve always taught my daughter.
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. It’s what I’ve always heard.
Be the woman who’ll make God proud. It’s what I’ve always lived by.
Beauty. A small word, but full of complexity.
No matter what any of us do, we can never try so hard that we become beautiful.
Here’s what I believe brings out the beauty in each of us…
- offering a hand to help
- giving when it hurts
- laughing through the tears
- listening when you’d rather not
- standing up for those who cannot stand up for themselves
That’s where I see beauty.
In the little things. The things that often go unnoticed by the crowds. In the things that never goes unseen by God.
STOP.

Such a beautiful list!
Thanks so much, Dawn!
Beautifully written :)
Thanks, Kelly! :)
Those are some great examples of beauty. I agree with that list! And it’s those small things that continue to show God’s grace, loving kindness, and mercy. Great five minute post.
Thanks, Caroline!
Wonderful thoughts on beauty! Beauty is a gift given for other people after all, though ultimately for Him.
Thanks so much, Beck!
Clicked over because I had to see the story that went with the photo. Wonderful words today. Nice meeting you through the link-up.
